CNETE conducts applied research in the fields of bioprocesses and membrane technologies, applied to industrial molecules, environmental technologies and bioenergy production, contributing to the improvement and development of environmental friendly processes and products. The center has a large fleet of high level analytical and processing equipment, ranging from laboratory scale to pilot scale, and the center’s work creates spillover effects that benefit college education.
